As a freelance contractor, I revived and renewed a dormant Interior Plantscape design division for a landscaping company in Seattle, Washington.
Key Outcomes:
-I revitalized a dormant division: I successfully revived a previously inactive division within a Landscape company. I redefined their brand identity to be consistent with a franchise of landscape design companies I developed, since 2000. Using UI/UX with Squarespace and Adobe Creative Suite, I redesigned the strategy, systems, logo, and website, positioning the division for renewed growth. I created a new company mission statement to reflect the ownership: MIDORI curates biophilic designed living environments | An enduring legacy of our Japanese-rooted, family-owned company founded in Seattle in 1967.
-I expanded their client base: Increased sales opportunities through targeted pitches to new commercial and residential clients, resulting in 20% growth in new client acquisitions. Developed, bid, and estimated proposals via Aspire software, the industry standard for bidding and estimating.
-I project managed and designed elevated interior & exterior landscapes: Developed high-end interior plant designs for prominent commercial clients in Seattle, leveraging extensive horticultural expertise from prior conservatory experience. This expertise ensured exceptional plant health and cultural care, exceeding client expectations.
-I managed diverse team: I oversaw an accounts manager and greenhouse crew, ensuring operational efficiency and successful project execution.
